Searching for a costume or accessory is easy.  Either type a keyword or search number into the InCostume.com’s search box, or use the category titles to browse to find an item.  To see more detailed information about an item, click on the item’s title.

How do I decide what size to purchase?

 

Use the InCostume.com size chart to determine which size will work best for you.  Remember, that costumes tend to run small.  If you’re undecided between two sizes, the larger size is often the best choice.

How do I tell if the item I’m looking at is in stock?

 

If an item is out of stock, there will be a notice on the item’s detail page.  The notice will explain which specific size/color is out of stock.  In addition, you will not be able to add the item to your shopping cart.

If an item is out of stock, when will it be back in stock?

 

Because of the seasonal nature of many of the items sold by InCostume.com, we cannot guarantee when an item will return to regular stock.  Please check the website at a later date, if you are interested in an out of stock item.

How do I add items to my shopping cart?

 

After finding an item that interests you, simply click on the item’s title to be taken to the item’s detail page.  From the detail page you will be able to select the quantity and size of your item from the drop down menus and to click the “Add to Cart” button to add the item(s) to your shopping cart.

How do I delete items in my shopping cart?

 

To delete items from your shopping cart simply click on the “Delete” button next to the item you wish to remove.

How do I increase/decrease the quantity of the items in my shopping cart?

 

To increase/decrease the quantity of items in your shopping cart, change the quantity in the box next to the item you wish to change.  Then click the “Update Cart” button to refresh your shopping cart.

What types of payment are accepted?

 

InCostume.com accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card, and American Express as forms of payment.  In addition bank cards backed by these credit card companies are acceptable.

How do I place an order?

 

Click the button to enter your shopping cart.  After making any necessary adjustments to the items in your shopping cart, you are ready to complete the checkout process.  Log in to your InCostume.com account.  (New customers will need to register first.)  Your shipping options will be displayed so that you may select the option that best suits your needs.  Finally, inputting your payment information will allow you to wrap up your order.  An order confirmation will be displayed and emailed to you after your order has been placed.

Order Status Questions:

 

Can I change my order after it’s been submitted?

 

Unfortunately, because timeliness is so important to the orders placed at InCostume.com, orders are sent to the warehouse almost as quickly as they are submitted.  Therefore, orders cannot be changed or cancelled after they’ve been placed.  Please see the return policy if you need to return an item.

How long will it take my order to be delivered?

 

InCostume.com offers three convenient methods of delivery:  Economy Shipping, Standard Shipping, and Express Shipping.  Shipping can take anywhere from 1 to 10 business days.  Please see estimated shipping time associated with your chosen method of delivery to determine how long your order will take.

What is the status of my order now?

 

When your order has been submitted, you will receive an order confirmation from InCostume.com.  Once your order has left the warehouse, you will receive an email notifying you that your order has shipped.  If the method of delivery that you chose utilizes a tracking advice, your email will include that information.

Return/Exchange Questions:

 

What if there is a problem with my order?

 

InCostume.com should be notified right away if there is a problem with your order.  If there appear to be damages to your package upon delivery, please have the delivery person note the damage prior to accepting the delivery.

What type of item can I return?

 

Our “No Worries” return policy means that you can shop online with confidence.  If you find that you are unhappy with an item you may simply return it to us for a refund of the original purchase price.  However, certain restrictions do apply.

 

First, the product must be returned to us in new, resalable condition.  All of the original packaging with tags and advertising material must be intact.  Merchandise must not be damaged or used in any way. 

 

Second, certain types of items are not returnable due to hygiene and copyright issues.  These Final Sale items include:  Hats, Wigs, Masks, Intimate Apparel, Make Up, Eyelashes, Prosthetics, Fangs, Teeth Magic Tricks, Books, DVD’s, Video’s, Audio Cassettes & CDs & Special Order Items.

 

Finally, items purchased after October 15th and before October 31st are considered seasonal sales.  Seasonal sales are not returnable.

How do I initiate a return?

 

If there is a problem with your order, email InCostume.com at Returns@InCostume.com within 3 days of receiving your merchandise.  Be sure to include your order number, email address, and reason for returning the product on all correspondence.  After we have evaluated your information to verify that it conforms to our return policy, we will send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.  This number should be printed and sent to us along with the item to be returned.

How should I return merchandise after I’ve received my RMA?

 

Return merchandise must be shipped using one of two traceable carriers:  UPS or FedEx.  InCostume.com will not accept returns sent COD.  Return merchandise must be postmarked within 7 days from the original delivery date of your order.  Merchandise returned via an untraceable shipping method will be considered an unauthorized return and will not be eligible for a return.

How long does it take for a return to be processed?

 

Rest assured that we process returns as quickly possible.  However, during peak seasons, returns may take as many as 30 days to be processed.

How can I exchange my costume for another size?

 

InCostume.com has significant streamlined the exchange process for your convenience.  Simply return to the website and place a new order for the new item that you wish to receive.  Then return the original item with its RMA to receive a refund for it.

Can I have my order shipped to a different address than my billing address?

 

For your convenience, you may opt to have your order shipped to an address other than your billing address.  Simply input the address that you wish to have your order sent to when you complete the shipping portion of the checkout process.

Can I order from countries besides the U.S.?

 

Unfortunately, InCostume.com does not ship currently ship outside of the continental U.S.  You may place an order from outside of our shipping area, but only if you will have your order shipped to an address that we service.

During the checkout process, you will be given the opportunity to choose a shipping method.  By evaluating the estimated shipping time and the cost of the options given to you, select the shipping method that meets your needs.  The cost of that shipping method will be added to your shopping cart.

Who will deliver my order?

 

Because we strive to provide the fastest and most cost-effective shipping options available to our customers, InCostume.com cannot tell you who will be delivering your order until your order is shipped.  You will receive a notification of shipping details when your order is shipped, and if a tracking number is available, it will be provided to you.

Why didn’t I receive all of my order?

 

If you receive a delivery that does not include all of your items, consult the shipping notice you received via email.  Occasionally items will be shipped from more than one warehouse.  If your order has been split into multiple shipments, your shipping notice will outline this information for you.  Please note that you will not be charged extra for multiple shipments.
